This was my entry for one of Anime Layer’s contests. The background was done from scratch (all mouse-painted in Photoshop). Several reference images were used to make the fishies and the water. It was fun making this one. I scanned, printed, then trace the scan again with pencil to make that nice pencil effect. I probably spent about 8 hours or so on this one. I did write a very quick and simple walkthrough on how I did the pencil effect. I’ll upload it sometime in the future.
